Temperature and humidity affect sanding results!

ideal temperature:   16 - 20 degrees Celsius

ideal humidity:           50 - 60% RH

What happens when the humidity is too high:

• sagging abrasive
• negative belt turning
• wrinkly surface
• grit loss before time

What happens when the humidity is too low:

• loss of toughness
• belt turning to grit side

Tips:

• Hang the belts for 24 hours in the climate where they are used
• Hang belts on a belt gallow
• Lenght of the gallow should be at least width of the belts
• Diamenter of the gallow should be approx. the diameter of the abrasive cylinder
• Keep off dirt, oil and grease
